Update: Ms. Beverly Loyd was discharged home from Methodist University Hospital on August 19 with a good prognosis, literally giving high-fives on her way out. Thanks to Methodist’s partnership with St. Thomas, it has been arranged for Ms. Loyd to do her post-surgery clinic visits in Nashville, which will be much closer to her home.
